news about COLOURS from the chairperson!!
hey guys,
finally i get to know how to log in and post up messages here... yaya... HR dept is technically challenged as usual...
COLOURS's finally over...as usual, there were lots of preparation before hand in terms of logistics, and programme..and still there were some last minute work that need to be done when all the facis were down here in UTM on Friday;p we have quite a diverse team in our faci team (malaysian, Indonesian, Slovak, Dutch and German Turkish, and of cos from different LCs... UUM, USM,MCs)....it gave the delegates the feeling of how 'global and international' AIESEC is:)
Everything was smooth in COLOURS, the camp started at 8am, officiate by our advisor (Vice Dean of FPPSM)... For the 1st time we have an official opening ceremony for COLOURS:) ... and he actually love our style of conducting the session, he saw the members actively involve in all discussion!!
We have sessions on challenging worldview (discussion on international issues), Personal goals setting, introduction of AIESEC Experience, ice breaking, team building and etc...of course rollcalls and dances were the MUST:) It ended at 9pm where everyone has some ideas of opportunities in AIESEC...
We are going to have AIESEC meeting tomorrow, really hope to see those new faces again...hope some of them will take AIESEC to be their cup of tea...retention is always an issue for HR dept, I'm crossing my fingers and toes for it:)
and now i can officially put down my responsibility as VP HR, and all the best for the new board!!
chairperson of COLOURS, and cant wait to join senior gang,
yiying.

hey there...
great job UTM on your COLOURS...
I heard it went on well and smoothly...
Neway I like the part you mention that members retention is always a problem for HR...Maybe we can brainstorm a lil bit here on what can we actually do other than just introducing them to AIESEC XP!!!
